For the past 14 years China Direct has concentrated on delivering these goals to build our strong reputation as a region specialist. Whatever the prices or marketing gimmicks of other companies, the true test of a holiday tour is what happens on the ground in China - who looks after you, where and what kind of beds you sleep on at night, how far you have to walk to the city centre, what do you eat at every meal and what you see and don't see. A lot of our efforts are channelled into getting this right for each traveller.
Our prices are unmatched for what we offer - yet we use good 4- and 5-star centrally located hotels, and 5-star Yangtze cruise boats.
We offer group tours, departing at the best times of year to visit, allowing you to discover China in the company of like-minded travellers in small groups. Departures are 'guaranteed' for minimum of 2 persons and will not be cancelled for lack of numbers. Our tours are priced less than 95% of UK tour operators. Our tours might be slightly more expensive (£100) than the very cheapest tour operators (which have large groups of up to 50 people at a time with lower standard hotels far away from city centres and with inclusions in their itineraries but more optional tours) because we design your holidays around your requirements, make the most of your time and budget and select your preferred style of accommodation and create the perfect trip with the help of our specialists who understand you fly thousands of miles not merely to see China but also to feel it.
We also offer private tailor-made tours, where you have the services of your own local guides and transport and driver, yet at competitive prices between at least £300 to £500 or more per person cheaper than equivalent arrangements elsewhere.
